  1. Braided Beauty

It is well-known that braids will give way to beautiful waves after a few hours of wear, but there are also a couple of tips to help create your waves as impeccable as possible. First, your hair should be slightly wet in order that the impression of the bride actually leaves a lasting wave. After that you should apply a leave-in conditioner or smoothing serum on your wet strands to keep your hair in the best condition and help smooth flyaways. After you are done with priming your hair you should braid loosely either in one big braid or in a lot of little braids depending on the type of look you want (bigger braids will give looser waves and smaller braids will give tighter waves). Use a fabric hair tie to secure so as not to leave a big ridge.

  1. Twist Curls

After you are done with your shower you should comb your hair, apply some styling cream, twist little sections and coil them up into the roots of your hair. Pin them in place, sleep on them, unroll them when you get up and you will get the desired look.

  1. Rag Rollers

Some people say that this hair style is old-fashioned but in fact it is still fashionable today. You should cut one-inch wide strips of cloth (you can also use a T-shirt) and roll a one-inch section of your hair up and under the strip. Roll it under till you get to the root of your hair and then use the loose ends of the cloth to tie a knot. Keep doing this all the way around your head and sleep on them. When you get up, unroll each strip and you will be left with spectacular waves.

  1. Twisted Crown Braid

You should place your hair into 2 low sections instead of a simple crown braid. You should roll each section all the way down to the ends. After that you should bring each section one at a time and pin across the opposite side of your head. You should sleep on your hair and in the morning you will see gorgeous waves.

  1. Sock Bun Curls

These small hair donuts which give you a great circular bun? You can also use them to create curls. You can cut the toe off  of an old sock if you don’t have a pre-made sock bun and roll it into itself till you get a donut shape. After that you should place your hair in a ponytail (using a fabric hair tie for no ridges) and put the sock bun at the end of the ponytail. Start rolling your hair up into the sock bun till you keep inverting the bun again and again. You should give the bun one final roll t secure it tight once you get to the top of your head and then go to bed. When you get up you will have soft, beautiful curls.

  1. Headband Curls

You should use a headband which wraps all the way around your head (such as an elastic sports headband). Bring up small one-inch sections of hair starting from either side of your head. You should tuck your hair up and into the headband so that when you are finished, all of your hair is rolled into the headband. You should sleep on your hair and let the headband loose for elegant, beautiful curls.

  1. Scrunch And Spray

In the end, instead of twisting or braiding before you go to sleep, after you are done with your shower you should eliminate excess water, comb your hair with fingers and leave it air dry for a couple of minutes. When you are done, use your hands to scrunch your hair and spritz some curling spray on your locks. Also, if you want your strands to curl better you can use a sea salt spray. Keep scrunching till you get a desired wave or curl. You should leave your hair air dry the rest of the way.
